The Annual General Meeting of Fife Family History Society was held on Tuesday 11th of June in Volunteer House, Cupar. It was a well attended meeting and the following Office Bearers were appointed: Chairman – Alison Murray, Treasurer – Roddy Greig, Secretary – Margery Sinclair, Editor – Andrew Campbell. The positions of Vice Chairman and Membership Secretary are currently vacant. New roles and responsibilities are being drawn up for both of these positions as the roles now require a good knowledge of computers, websites and databases. We will be inviting applications in the near future. Two new committee members were also approved of by the membership. Jenny Mackie (Volunteer Coordinator) and Ian McIntyre (Enquiries).
Following the business of the AGM, members were invited to network over drinks and nibbles. Many thanks to those who attended and to the team of committee members and volunteers who give their valuable time to the running of the society.
