Local Heritage Day – January

Duncan Institute

This event will celebrate the start of a year long program of events/talks and displays to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of The Duncan Institute in Cupar run by OnFife and Cupar Library. We are proud that the Duncan Institute is home to Fife Family History Society. Come along and learn about Elizabeth Duncan who bequeathed the funds to provide a building for the working class men of Cupar and the surrounding area. Taking part in this event on the 24th of January are Cupar Library, Fife Archives, Cupar Heritage Centre and Museum, Fife Folk Museum and St Andrews University Special Collections, Cupar Burgh Records.  All welcome to attend this free event. 11am-3pm in Cupar Library.
