Leslie-Yule: From Sexton Books, Names, dates, locations of graves.

The Sexton Book of Crail (1855-1923) is the 4th gravedigger book of Crail Churchyard. It is held by Crail Museum and records all the interments in the Old Crail Churchyard during this period. It begins in July 1854. The index starts at 1st January 1855, when statutory records began; also the entries for 1854 can be found in the pre-1855 Fife Death Index published by Fife FHS. This is available to members of the society in the members area of the website www.fifefhs.org and can also be searched on Find My Past.
